The Strive Weight Loss Challenge incorporates group education programs, worksite incentives and camaraderie (or not!) to promote and empower participants to lose weight. Education sessions are forty five (45) minutes in length and are structured to provide participants with useful information about the foods (fats and calories found in the foods) they eat everyday in conjunction with information on why we eat (behavior modification). The program will take place over ten (10) weeks with interim seminars, self weight tracking and newsletters. Participants pay $10.00 for ten weeks of wellness; winner takes all! The winner is determined by the greatest percent (%) of body weight lost. The program is taught by a Registered Dietitian.
